Grand Knight's Message

Greetings in our Lord Jesus Christ!

Welcome to the Knights of Columbus Union Council 345 Website!

My name is Gregory DeSalva, and I am the current Grand Knight for our Council. Council 345 serves the parishes of St Jane Frances de Chantal, Our Lady of Mercy, St Anthony's, Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church, and our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church. Our Council has been in existence for over 125 years in service to the Easton Community.

We have a active Council, and are involved in quite a few programs in service to others. We participate in fund raising for the Northampton County Miracle League, and Special Olympics, support of Seminarians, provide Scholarship funds for those Eighth Grade Students going on to Catholic High School, we support the Working With Moms in Need ministry as well as providing a majority of funding for the bus that transports the local Pro Life Groups to Washington, DC every year, to name a few. Many of our council members also volunteer work at the local food pantry, and we participate in the Coats for Kids program. We do this with a very dedicated group of Knights who also participate in most of the ministries in our parishes.

Union Council 345 was formed over 125 years ago in the City of Easton and has a distinguished record of service to both our catholic parishes and our community. Our Council serves the parishes of Holy Ghost, Our Lady of Lebanon, Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St Anthony's of Padua, and St Jane Frances de Chantal. As Knights we try to create a better world through charity and volunteerism. If you are looking to live out your faith in the spirit of charity by helping others, the Knights of Columbus welcomes you to join and become a Knight.
